Fast FWD...slow Down...

Funny how sometimes we feel that life has us in fast forward mode...so much to do, so little time.
We all seem to over-book our schedules, trying to fit as much as we can in, into a day. I have learned so much about slowing down (though it is still an ever-present learning process for me)
As most of you know, I continue to fight chronic back and gastro issues. If you have ever been chronically ill, you know about slowing down. Our bodies are in need of it, especially during and illness/recovery period.
I had my second rhizotomy, and some cervical injections yesterday, so I am in "slow down/healing" mode, due to having this done.
Why does it seem we do not tend to "slow-down", until we have no other choice?
How do you manage your time??
Any tips on staying out of the Fast FWD mode in life, and keeping everything at an even medium??

I will share this quote with you:
"All of the animals except for man know that the principle of life is to slow down and enjoy it."
~ Samuel Butler
Perfect thought for the day, as I see spring approaching, trees budding, birds nesting, and flowers starting to bloom!
I did take a few moments this morning, and slowed down to do a little bird-watching, funny how they automatically know how to manage their time!

Blessings to You~
